Aug 15th | 10 notes montereybayaquarium: We recently released a healthy sevengill shark (Notorynchus cepedianus) into Monterey Bay. It thrived during its stay, gaining 13 pounds in four months. We still have two females on exhibit. These sharks help educate thousands of visitors about the power and beauty of large sharks—and the dangers they face in the wild.
